Day 2 / Monday, February 23, 2015

During this session we will discuss the use of hyphenated techniques with plasma-based detection systems for speciation analysis.
The characterization of nanoparticles is the topic of this session.
Fundamental aspects of plasma spectrochemistry will be discussed within this session.
The morning part of this stream is dedicated to questions of the role of trace elements in biological systems.

The afternoon part of the stream is related to alternative plasma sources.

Day 3 / Tuesday, February 24, 2015

The morning part of this stream is dedicated to laser ablation for direct solid sampling as well as imaging.

The afternoon part is dedicated to LIBS for direct sample analysis.
This stream is dedicated to metrology questions for trace element and speciation analysis by plasma spectrometric techniques.
The presentations of this session are discussing questions of isotope analysis.
Presentations of this stream are dedicated to the analysis of fuels or other materials related to energy management.

Day 4 / Wednesday, February 25, 2015

This stream is again dedicated to the determination of elemental species by hyphenated techniques.
The morning part of this stream is dedicated to the characterization of nanoparticles.

The afternoon part is discussing imaging of biological samples by techniques based on plasma spectrometry.
The morning part of this stream is collecting presentations related to the development of instruments for plasma spectrochemistry.

In the afternoon more specifically techniques for sample introduction are discussed.
This stream is discussing environmental analysis by plasma spectrochemistry.

Day 5 / Thursday, February 26, 2015

This stream is dedicated to the determination of trace elements in biological materials.
This is the last session dedicated to the characterization of nanoparticles.
This is the last session dedicated to the development of plasma-based instrumentation.
This stream is dedicated to the application of glow discharges for surface analysis.

Dear participants !

We thank you for your participation during the EWCPS 2015.

You helped to make this event very successful: More than 700 participants from 45 countries contributed to the success by their poster presentation, oral presentation, exhibition or by the lively discussion with colleagues.
